Steve Watson elected president of TBA
Steve Watson was acclaimed the first new president of the Toronto Baseball Association in 15 years, succeeding David Black, who stepped down at the annual general meeting in November.
Watson was president of the Etobicoke Baseball Association and a long time coach with Royal York BA. Watson also became TBA’s representative to Rep Division Council.
The first major order of business for Watson, a corporate lawyer, is to oversee the updating of the constitution to conform with the new Ontario Non-Profit Corporations Act, which comes into force in October.
Dylan Lauzon succeeds Watson as president of EBA.
